Muddy Puddles

A day in the life of young kids in North Yorkshire. Put on your Wellies and rain coats, and get out and explore. These were all taken at our local park, Valley Gardens on President's Day. There are lots of beautiful plants, paths and a decent play area with a wading pool. When you would ever use the wading pool is beyond me.

Goose - I love that term too, it is one of the phrases I am definitely keeping in my vocabulary when we go back.

How did you get off on President's DAy in the UK?

We get the US holidays since we are US government employees. We do not get any UK holidays, so we actually get less days off than our UK counterparts here who have a ton of Bank Holidays, which are there government holidays.

Now I am interested to know what a Bank Holiday is based on.
