Middleham Castle

For Dave's birthday this year, he planned a family outing of things he wanted to do or see. The first stop was Middleham Castle, about 90 minutes from our house. King Richard III grew up there, and his only child was born and died there. So much history surrounds us. It was in ruins, but still very awesome. We had a lot of fun exploring it. Afterwards we went to Brymor to get some fabulous ice cream. Hilde has decided that she is a big fan of mint chocolate chip now so she got that and Enoch only wants pure chocolate. Dave had raspberry cheesecake and black cherry whim wham (you'll have to go there to taste it yourself) and I got a praline pecan and a fudge brownie scoop. Can you say delicious???
