After over a year of begging, asking nicely, and gentle reminders, Hilde finally got her haircut. I took her to my salon and she got the full treatment. Then snip, snip, snip. I was actually more emotional about it than I thought - no tears - but a definite sad feeling. When her haircut was done, it was adorable. But somehow, she looks so much older now! 
All night she kept brushing her hair, she just loves it. And Dave and I kept looking over at her and wondering where our little Hilde had gone!

She looks so darling. She has beautiful hair and it is a great style for her. She does look a lot older, and wiser too. I am glad you took her to your salon instead of just sending her along with D.
She is absolutely adorable with long or short hair. Wish we could be there to see it up close.

Older...and the spitting image of Michelle! Way to give in, I'm sure it was hard for you and Dave. But they just keep making more and more of their own choices, isn't it weird? I am constantly confused when H or G has her own opinion about something, and it's different from mine! Hilde looks absolutely lovely. And luckily you have all those shots from your awesome photo shoot to always remember her long hair by.
Wow! She does look older. But just so beautiful.
