The Chain Gang
On Sunday we made a chain with each link representing a day until Isabel's mom comes home. Hilde and Isabel drew pictures on pieces of paper that I then cut into strips and taped into a chain. The girls were super excited and now in the mornings Isabel tears off a link after she gets up. Doesn't she look excited?

What a cutie! Are she and Hilde sharing a room? I bet there won't be much sleep going on if they are!!!

Hey. I've been thinking about your mom regarding this financial mess we're in. If I remember correctly, she works for WAMU, right? I hope everything is ok for her.
Chrissy-T - Yes, they are sharing a room and it works out great. They both go to bed and stay in bed and so they are not staying up late. In the morning Hilde wakes up first and then wakes up Isabel. Sometimes Isabel likes that, sometimes she doesn't but I usually find them playing quietly together upstairs.
Gabe - good question, I need to call my mom. The last time we talked about it about a month ago, things were looking OK for WAMU. They had lost a lot of money on the home mortgage side, but their retail banking side was really strong so they thought it would balance out. With the new movements, that may have changed.
