This Easter we were in the Canary Islands. We didn't have easter baskets, candy, or egg hunts. We didn't really do much to celebrate the Holiday. Sunday morning we were starving and waiting for breakfast at a restaurant on the promenade next to the water. Hilde asked about Easter and said how it was OK that we were not opening up baskets since we did that before we left. Then she said, "today is super special. Sundays are about Jesus and Easter is about Jesus, so today is double Jesus day". So happy double Jesus day everybody. I hope you all had at least a few moments to reflect on the meaning of Easter and spend some quality time with the people you love. And if you had eggs and candy, that's great too.

Double Jesus Day
