Hilde lost both front teeth recently. She is adorable with her big gap smile. One tooth is starting to come in, and we can tell already that we will be getting braces at some point! She is really enjoying school and helping to teach Enoch to read. She had a bad bout of flu a month ago. We are not sure if it was H1N1 or not, but she lost about 7 pounds in a week, and she only weighs about 50 pounds to begin with. Luckily, her dad took amazing care of her (she was quarantined from the rest of us to avoid getting Phinn ill) and she has made a full recovery.

Very cute! And, I suppose everybody gets braces nowadays, anyway! Sorry she got sick, though-that is definitely not fun!
Hilde is so cute. I am really glad that she is feeling better, being sick is never fun. Ken got a stomach bug last week and lost six pounds in three days and we were worried, so I undertstand worrying over her.
As for the braces, I think it is hereditary. Tabatha had an appointment a few months ago with an orthodontist. Her teeth are very crowded and crooked, but at this stage all kids smiles, no matter how crooked, look cute. Hilde especially. Our orthodontist said braces should be done around 9 years old, so we still have aways to go, you too.
Wow - 9 seems so early!
I'm glad Hilde is better. The H1n1 is running crazy around here. I love her 2 gap tooth smile!! Austin lost one of his front teeth, but it hasn't grown in yet for months...uh oh.....
What's the going rate for teeth these days anyway?
Loved the Halloween pics. You should have lied about David being in the storm-trooper costume. He would have then been made a god in my eyes...
Super - we have been giving her 2 pound coins because they are cool and different. Depending on the exchange rate, that is $2-3. Enough for a small book or toy. Although she hasn't spent any of it yet.
