Library Time

We took a trip to the Library recently and had fun reading and playing while we waited for daddy to get off of work. Hilde can read just about anything you put in front of her. She just loves it. And Enoch is reading now too. He has learned a lot of phonics and can read any word that contains the phonics he knows. He amazes us everyday. Phinn is just starting to really love being read to. He likes to hear your voice telling the story and looking at the pages. Hilde loves reading him books and he loves it even more.

Four Months!

On November 20th Phinn turned 4 months old. He is such a wonderful baby. He is happy most of the time, with contagious smiles and cheeks that make you want to kiss them constantly. He recently developed some hand coordination and can grab his pacifier to yank it out - and occasionally put it back in. He can also play briefly with rattles, rings, etc. He rolls over front to back and back to front constantly when put on the floor. He is still finding his voice so we are blessed with the high pitched shrills of excitement from time to time. Real giggles are on their way, I can't wait to hear them. He loves to stand up, and he is honestly trying to crawl. We think he is going to be on the move faster than we would like. And if constant drool, chewing and gnawing on our hands means what we think it means, teeth may show up soon as well. Here are some pictures of our little guy.

And not to be left out, here is a picture of Enoch and a picture of Hilde.

Me and Phinn

Today Phinn is 4 months. But, since he is soundly sleeping after a long eventful day, pictures will be taken tomorrow instead. So, for now, you get this. We are loving having him around and I love having a little one to hold and snuggle. This picture was taken by Enoch, not bad.

Superboys

The superboys defeat evil with their wily skills, quick hands and feet, and super catchy giggles...

All smiles

This smile is sure doing wonders warming me up on the cold, windy, dark, rainy Yorkshire days and nights.

Please can I have a pony for Christmas?

Guess whether Hilde enjoyed a horseback riding birthday party she recently attended???

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth

Hilde lost both front teeth recently. She is adorable with her big gap smile. One tooth is starting to come in, and we can tell already that we will be getting braces at some point! She is really enjoying school and helping to teach Enoch to read. She had a bad bout of flu a month ago. We are not sure if it was H1N1 or not, but she lost about 7 pounds in a week, and she only weighs about 50 pounds to begin with. Luckily, her dad took amazing care of her (she was quarantined from the rest of us to avoid getting Phinn ill) and she has made a full recovery.
