Hard to believe, but Phineas turned 2 on the 20th of July. Time has really flown by, and his birthday was a whirlwind of activity. We had work/school/daycare and then went to Brooklyn's (the bowling alley formerly known as Strike Zone) for dinner before rushing to Darley for Hilde's last school performance - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Her class was the chorus. Phew, I am tired again just typing this. Phinn was a little on the grumpy side at dinner, we were forced to break out the pacifier, and then he calmed down a little.
It was impossible for us to see Hilde where we were sitting. She was so far on the side, that the curtain blocked her from us. If we were sitting on the other side, it would have been better, but we had no way of knowing ahead of time. Most of our pictures show the top of her head, unless she was going on or off the stage, or when we stealthily snuck to the other side to try and get a picture. Hilde did a really great job, and now if you quiz her on the tribes of Israel, she knows them all.
This is Enoch with his best friend Alistar, Ally. They are super close and Enoch has really missed him.
Finally we made it back to the Flat and got out our store bought cake for Phinn's birthday. This kid loves chocolate, so even though he was tired, he did a decent job making a mess of it.
Happy birthday Phinn. You are such a fun, sweet, active little boy. We love playing with you, reading with you, coloring with you, and listening to your vocabulary explode. You are the best 2 year old we know!

Thanks for posting your final days in Harrogate. Your stay there brought so many of us pleasant memories. It is fun to discover new delights that I never saw and to see your kids growing up.
