This Easter season was filled with a bunch of fun activities. We went to our Community Easter event. It was small and we missed the easter egg hunt, but it was fun to see friends from the neighborhood and do some crafts, eat popcorn, and play for a while. We also went to a huge party that a friend of ours throws every year. Last year it was so big that they decided that it would be impossible to hold it at their house any more. This year they rented a pavilion at a local farm. There was sack races, scavenger hunts, volleyball, bag tosses, a huge egg hunt, a barbecue and potluck AND raw egg games. Talk about amazing, I am tired just thinking about all they work they put into it.
Phinn insisted on doing the sack race even though the bag came up to his neck. And bless his little heart, he finished the race. He didn't care that he was last and way behind everyone else, he was in his own little one person race, and he was so stinking cute in his Robin Hood hat.
I love this picture of my two boys.
There are so few pictures of Dave and I together, I wish there were a lot more. This is one handsome guy I was lucky enough to marry.
Easter morning brought baskets of candy, bubbles, crafts and another easter egg hunt. I got a basket through my sister-in-laws brilliant easter basket swap. It was fantastic, full of fun things I didn't expect.
