Hilde is going to be in the daycare production of Lion King. Look for pictures of the cutest Hyena ever coming your way sometime in September. She has to learn the theme song, and laugh a few times. No actual lines, but she seems thrilled.In other lion news, 0ur kids have been begging for pets recently. My favorite request happened coming home from work Monday night.
Enoch: Mom, I want to pet a doggy.
Me: Great, the next time we are at the park I am sure you can pet one (there are tons of dogs there, they get to pet a bunch every time we go).
Enoch: I want to pet my pet lion.
Dave: You can't have a lion as a pet.
Enoch: I am going to feed my pet lion a slice.
Me: A slice of what.
Enoch: A slice of steak.
Although super cute, he still isn't getting a pet, especially not a lion.

So cute. Katie thinks she is a lion on most days so the next time we see you she can be Enoch's pet lion.
I think he should be commended for thinking about feeding it. Go, Enoch! and Macuna matata to Hilde.
