Rhodes Archeological Museum

After leaving the Palace of the Grand Masters, we walked down this old Avenue of the Knights.  The buildings and cobblestones were old, but there were definitely new businesses in most of the buildings.  It is sometimes such a juxtaposition for us since we just don't have this heritage in the US.  We stumbled upon an Archeological Museum hidden behind the wall on the right of the top picture.  We went inside and saw all sorts of artifacts, statues, mosaics, ancient objects of all varieties.  It was very nice.  We were starving at this point and looked all over for a decent restaurant.  We couldn't find the places in our guidebook (at least one that was open) and so we had to settle on a touristy outdoor restaurant.  I think that is all you need to know, it was the worst food we ate in Greece AND the most expensive.
