Rhodes Old Town

We spent one day in Rhodes proper, and it was really fun.  First we hit the Old Town, specifically the 14th century Palace of the Grand Masters.  It was partially destroyed in a gunpowder explosion in 1856 and then rebuilt to be a vacation spot for Mussolini.  It was really gorgeous and interesting.  They had a big courtyard where Phinn ran around like an energizer bunny trying to capture Enoch and Hilde.    Inside the palace there were so many great details.  Light fixtures, floor mosaics, doors, ceilings and countless other things had intricate features and interesting designs.  It was very similar to some of the stuff we saw in Malta.
