One of the best parks in Virginia is Clemyjontri park. I take the kids whenever there is a slightly cold or wet day where the crowds will be minimal. Trust me, this place is a complete madhouse when it is nice, and a weekend! There is something here for everyone, all of my kids can stay entertained there for hours.
Phinn is obsessed with horses, which makes all carousels a MUST DO.
