Overseas we went to a few zoos - London, Barcelona and some local ones. They all had one or two things we liked, but they all paled in comparison to the National Zoo. I took the kids shortly after we arrived....in August...in Virginia. It might not have been my brightest idea, but it was the only time I could fit it in. Phinn and Enoch loved looking at all the animals. Hilde's favorite part was standing in the water sprayers until she was drenched to cool off. The highlight was watching the Orangutan's on the O-line. All in all it was a good trip.
We went shopping and found this bed of tigers, a zoo all in itself.
