Hilde has hit the age where the Zoo isn't as a big a draw for her anymore. The boys, on the other hand, have been begging to go. So when Hilde was invited to a 2 day Harry Potter movie marathon, the rest of us took the opportunity to head to the zoo. While it wasn't the hottest day of the year, it was definitely hot and humid. The spray fountains were a big help in making our visit a happy one.
When things got too hot we would head to an indoor exhibit to cool off and let Freya run around for a while.
None of the Orangutans were out on the O-line, which was a big disappointment to Enoch, but we still got to see all the apes.
The pandas were out munching away.
The zoo had a new merry go round which was very cool. There were all sorts of animals to ride. Phinn still insisted on a horse, but Enoch rode an eagle. All in all we had a great time.
