Halloween was fun this year. Hilde was Mary Poppins, and Phinn was a chef. In true Enoch fashion, he had two different costumes. For the church party he was a knight and on Halloween night he was Ang from the cartoon Avatar. The church party was our first Halloween event and Hilde was a little worried that nobody would understand her costume. Luckily, right after we got there somebody recognized her as Mary Poppins and her frown immediately turned into all smiles. Halloween night was pretty cold. Enoch and Phinn only knocked on the 4 doors closest to our house. We ran into one of Hilde's good friends so the boys went home and Hilde and I continued around the neighborhood with her friend. It was the first time I really got a feeling for our larger community and it was nice. One house was all decked out and had DANCERS in the front lawn performing Thriller. It was pretty awesome. I think we are going to like it here.
