While Dave was in England, I decided to take the kids to the Reston Zoo. It is a very small animal park pretty close to us. They have some enclosures of birds, lemurs, reptiles, lambs and some other things. The big attraction is their open wildlife area. You can purchase feed and ride in a "tractor" around a big open area where various animals are roaming free. A word of advice to anyone going in the near future: If you purchase feed, hide it when you don't want it to be eaten and hold it tight if you don't want it all to disappear in one bite. Those animals are quick, big, and oh so clever. The kids thought it was great fun even though they were a little scared when the animals first started approaching the truck. I don't blame them some of those horns were pretty crazy.
