Little Freya is not so little anymore. She was 9 months old on September 1st. At her 9 month checkup she was 18 pounds 2 ounces (40th percentile), 28 inches tall (60th percentile) and had a head circumference of 17 inches (25th percentile). She had to get 4 shots and an oral immunization. She cried for just a few moments until I swooped her up and gave her the love she needed. Then she just cuddled and was mostly cheerful the rest of the day. This month she really started to eat food other than cereal and an occasional jar of baby food. She loves puffs, baby yogurt and yogurt melts. The problem is that everything she loves, her siblings want too. I have to keep reminding them that her food is actually HER food. She is babbling a whole lot and has finally said both dada and mama. Her hair is starting to get a little longer with a tiny bit of a curl to it, especially when she wakes up with a sweaty head. We all love this little munchkin.
