By far the best part of staying home is getting to do fun things with the kids that would not have fit into our hectic schedule previously. This year I took just the younger two to Cox Farms's big Fall Festival while the older kids were in school. I did not count on all of the school groups there on field trips, but otherwise it was a great time. It was a little bit cold and occasionally rained, but nothing to keep us inside. We climbed hay bales, looked at animals, and took the famous hayride. All in all, a great day.
