Summer Fun Club - Geo Boards

Aunt Kari hosted the most ambitious, most fun, most long lasting Summer Fun Club project.  Very fitting since she created Summer Fun Club last year, which makes her the coolest Aunt ever.  A few weeks in advance she bought pieces of wood and took them to grandpa's house.  Grandpa painted the boards and pre-drilled starter holes in each board.  Then on the big day all of the kids took a board and pounded nails into the boards.  That was a fun activity in and of itself, but the fun didn't stop there.  After the boards were done they got out rubber bands and made designs.  Very cool and fun.

The water table also came out for some break time when people were tired of pounding.

 Some finished projects.
