In the heat of summer, we were definitely ready for an indoor, air conditioned Summer Fun Club. Our most expensive outing of the summer, a matinee showing of Despicable Me 2. The kids loved it, even Freya "sat" still. It was a turning point as a parent. I took all 4 kids to a movie by myself, and it was easy. I never thought that day would come. It helped that the movie was pretty great too. Really, these kids are awesome.
